Can tea and toast at breakfast be bad? - read this

This all depends on what breakfast you are having, and how you like to make it.  We are not saying that you should not have tea, or make toast - but do see the evidence.

If you love to have eggs, bread or cereals for breakfast, then your morning cuppa may not be as good for you as you thought.

The tannins that give tea its yellow-brown colour latch onto iron in these breakfast foods, and this will reduce the amount your body receives. Some cereals, such as Weetabix and Bran Flakes to name a couple, are fortified with iron. Eggs are a healthy breakfast choice. But you will not get the full benefit of them if you mix them with a cup of tea.

Likewise you need to be careful with toast - or more importantly just how long you cook it.
Everyone has their own preferences on toast - whether lightly browned or almost black. But if you are someone who likes them "well-done" it could be harmful.
Fiood with high amounts of acrylamide, the dark burnt bits on overcooked bread or potatoes, has been linked with some cancers. It is best to aim for a golden yellow colour
